Many people believe that constructions ease people’s lives and support that the world needs to be designed for humans. However, I strongly disagree with this statement. The industrialization process has affected the nature adversely, and humankind didn't realize the consequences of their actions to nature which is the home of many species. For this reasons, I firmly believe that humankind damages the nature with the actions they take.
People are seen as the superior species of the earth. As a result of that, they mostly forget there are other species exist in the World. People tend to build constructions to make the World a better place for themselves. But these constructions harm nature, and thereby the habitat of the animals. For example, the construction of highway damages to thousands of trees, and thereby devastate the home of animals. When animals lose their homes, they start coming to the cities. And most people get scared by these animals. But they mostly don’t realize that the places they live were once animals' home. It was the people who don’t belong there.
The damages given to nature has increased rapidly after the industrial revolution. Many countries used the new technologic innovations to grow the countries bigger. And they didn’t care if the growth harms the environment. Growth, or in other words earning more money, was more important for them. In the end, they consciously or unconsciously harmed the nature in the past. But as the world alarms more loudly, the environmental problems are seen as a bigger issue. For example, many countries signed the Paris Agreement to take action to do something about environmental problems. But there are some countries who don’t want to obey this agreement. Thus, it can be said that there are still some countries exist that harm nature consciously.
In conclusion, people harmed the world in the past with the constructions they built, and thereby ruined the habitat of many animals. Furthermore, humankind devastated the world worse after the post-industrial era. They didn’t realize the consequences of their actions in the past, or they didn’t care. Under those circumstances, I believe that human actions harm the world, thereby the other species.
