Discussing The Advantages and Disadvantages of a New Factory Construction - With The Perspective of the Neoliberal View
Some people believe that building new factories affect the environment adversely and increase taxes, thus they strongly against it. However, I strongly disagree with this statement. New factories mean new job opportunities for local people, and thereby stop migration to the big cities. Moreover, companies build new infrastructures for the neighborhood. As a result, these developments leave a positive impression for the neighborhood. For these reasons, I firmly believe that new factories need to be built.
New factories create new job opportunities for local people and increase the employment rate. As a result, it’s good for both the local people and the country. Furthermore, new infrastructures need to be built in order to make the factory works. Hence, a new factory comes with new infrastructures. For instance, my mother’s hometown was a small town without job opportunities. Therefore, people used to migrate to the big cities. This action caused regional imbalances among the country. But after the new factory, everything has changed. New opportunities have been created. New roads, tunnels, bridges have been built, and thereby the transportation system has developed. The communication system has established. And the neighborhood has gained thousands of tourists. Under those circumstances, the migration to the cities has stopped.
On the other hand, some people state that the construction of a new factory destroys the environment, creates pollution, ruins the habitat of animals. However, after the new regulations, governments are stricter for environmental problems. During the construction of the factory, companies need to follow some strict rules. Furthermore, the consciousness of people has increased. When they realize something isn’t right, they can collectively stop it. Under those circumstances, I believe the pros have outnumbered the cons.
In conclusion, people have conflicts about whether new factories need to be built or not. And they have some arguments to support their opinions. However, I believe that new factories create new job opportunities, and thereby stop the migration of people to the big cities. Besides, they build new infrastructures for the neighborhood. These developments leave a positive impression for the neighborhood. For these reasons, I believe that new factories need to be built.
